London MCM Comic Con is the best place to be if you are a SF or fantasy fan. We prepared something really special for this year – a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be 3-D scanned and then turned into a unique action figure.
Minute after minute more and more people were filling ExCel Exhibition Centre. The fantastic outfits and creativity of their authors blew us away. my3Dtwin team was more than ready to make this historic moment last forever.
At first sight our pop-up boot might have looked all white and innocent but inside we were performing pure magic. 64 DSLR cameras were scanning super-heroes of many names to later turn them, courtesy of cutting-edge technology, into their little bit smaller 3D twins.
Stunning ladies from far galaxies and distant universes were awarding our hard work with their beautiful smiles and looks of appreciation and even admiration.
Common people were gathering outside our so-called intergalactic ‘Replicator’ demanding to be turned. And they were. We were working patiently in the sweat of our brows to meet the cosmic expectations of our fantastic guests.
